Full Description
November 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches and possible enclosures are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3300 1624. At least twelve sections of linear ditch cropmark are present on a variety of different alignments. Some of these ditches have a similar alignments to the modern field pattern and may be of post medieval date. Other ditches form angled junctions and may form parts of incomplete enclosures. A possible rectilinear enclosure is located at TG 3314 1617. Although it is incomplete, it has dimensions of at least 14m by 12m. The date of this enclosure and the other cropmarks is uncertain. Other undated enclosure cropmarks are present to the northeast (NHER 45296, 49161).
