Summary

A World War Two pillbox is visible adjacent to the River Bure on 1946 aerial photography. It appears to have been a common hexagonal type 22 pillbox and had been demolished by 1963.

A World War Two pillbox is visible on 1946 aerial photographs (S1). This pillbox was located adjacent to the River Bure at TG 3032 1802, just downstream from Wroxham Bridge. It is hexagonal in shape and appears to be a type 22 pillbox. It had been removed by November 1963 (S2).
