Summary

A cropmark of a ring ditch, probably relating to a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs. The ring ditch is circular in plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 23m. It is likely that the ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow. It is situated on west facing slope at approximately 12m OD. Cropmarks of a double ring ditch are located 120m to the northeast (NHER 36446) and two small ring ditches, one of which is also a double, are present 190m to the southeast (NHER 49178).

A cropmark of a ring ditch, probably relating to a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This cropmark is located at TG 2988 1940. The ring ditch is circular in plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 23m. It is likely that the ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow. It is situated on west facing slope at approximately 12m OD. Cropmarks of a double ring ditch are located 120m to the northeast (NHER 36446) and two small ring ditches, one of which is also a double, are present 190m to the southeast (NHER 49178).
