Full Description
October-November 2006. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site. Contexts 1-20.
Trenching sought to establish whether the proposed line of the Saxon defensive ditch was present in this location.
There was no evidence of the ditch and no archaeological remains whatsoever.
