Full Description
January 2007. Watching Brief.
Monitoring during ground reduction of former alleyway at rear of 18 Bedford Street. From Context 1.
Numerous sherds of Late Saxon pottery and some fragments of butchered animal bone were recovered from a highly truncated deposit (possibly indicating the presence of a buried waste pit).

The associated archive has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2016.81).
