Summary

The cropmarks of a group of undated and fragmentary field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs to the west of Cley Road, Bradwell. The date of these field boundaries is uncertain. It is possible that they represent the remains of late prehistoric to Roman date divisions, possibly associated with the enclosures and field boundaries recorded to the immediate west (NHER 49228). Although it must be noted that the broadly east-west ditches follow the same alignment as a series of medieval to post medieval boundaries recorded under NHER 43453.
