Summary

Metal-detecting between 2006 and 2024 recovered Neolithic/Bronze Age flint flakes; a notable quantity of Roman pottery; Iron Age, potentially Early Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Late Iron Age (Roman issue), Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and a range of other, undated and Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include undated lead weights; a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; Roman brooches, a medical instrument handle and furniture stud; Early Saxon brooches and girdle hangers; a Late Saxon disc brooch; a Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorl; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness mount, purse fragment, lead pot mends, lead window cames and lead ampulla; a medieval/post-medieval book clasp, copper alloy vessel fragments, copper alloy ring, copper alloy 'paper clip' rivet, piece of copper alloy metal-working scrap, lead weights and lead spindle whorl/weight and post-medieval harness mounts, a book clasp, sword-belt fitting, crotal bell, clapper bell, spoon, furniture hasp, lead cloth seal and gold finger ring.

Medieval/post-medieval possible chafing dish fragments, a copper alloy ring, copper alloy 'paper clip' rivet, lead standing weight and lead spindle whorl/weight.
1 post-medieval pottery sherd, hooked tag, book clasp, lead cloth seal and gold finger ring or posy ring.
