Summary

Pieces of pottery, glass and ceramic building material were found in a test pit dug by SHARP in 2004 during the Village Survey.

Grimston ware found in the turf and a large amount of stuff in the top 27cm before a change to harder stony ground. This was sterile and at 43cm the chalk natural emerged.
