Summary

A group of undated, fragmentary linear ditches is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The date and function of the ditches is unclear, and their archaeological significance is uncertain. Some may represent field boundaries or drains of relatively recent date; others may be a product of recent agricultural activity.

A group of fragmentary linear ditches is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1), centred around TG 3081 2601. The date and function of the ditches is not known, and their archaeological significance is uncertain. Some may represent field boundaries or drains of relatively recent date; some are depicted on Ordnance Survey maps, e.g. (S2), and consequently have not been mapped by the NMP. Others may be a product of recent agricultural activity.
