Full Description
March 2007. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of possible medieval ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3570 1700. Faint parallel linear cropmarks are present on a southwest to northeast alignment. They lie parallel to a field boundary marked on the 1818 Horning enclosure map (S2) and the linear earthwork to their southeast (NHER 14099). It is possible that they relate to medieval ridge and furrow, although a modern agricultural origin is also feasible.
