Summary

Metal-detecting between 2006 and 2018 has recovered Late Prehistoric flint implements; a post-medieval coin; as well as undated and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated lead weight; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval brooch, lead pot mend, harness pendant and harness stud; medieval/post medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a finger ring and post-medieval apothecaries' weights and cloth seals.

The medieval gold finger ring was submitted as potential Treasure (Treasure case 2011 T616), declared Treasure at inquest on 11 May 2012 and subsequently acquired by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2013.68).
