Summary

Metal-detecting between 2006 and 2025 recovered a Late Saxon pottery sherd; medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton; a post-medieval token and number of other, Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Bronze Age copper alloy socketed hammer; a Roman brooch and probable key handle; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness pendant with suspension mount, probable harness pendant or mount, thimble, monumental brass fragment, copper alloy and lead seal matrices, lead ampulla, lead pot mend and lead pendant weight; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a lead weight and a post-medieval sword-belt mount.
