Summary

Fieldwalking in this area in 2006 recovered a range of post-medieval and post-medieval/modern objects, including pottery sherds, clay pipes and building material.

February-March 2006. Systematic Fieldwaking Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of King's Lynn to Wisbech natural gas pipeline (Area 7).
Finds recovered in this field included:
12 post-medieval pottery sherds, 1 tile, 6 clay tobacco pipe fragments, 1 bottle glass fragment and 1 iron smithing slag fragment.
4 late post-medieval/modern pottery sherds, 1 brick/tile fragment, 1 drain fragment and 1 glass fragment.
