Map

June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
Multi-period linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 3368 2295. Most probably mark former field boundaries. Several are likely to be of medieval to post medieval date, as they share their orientation with the modern field pattern. Others may represent an earlier phase (or phases) of activity, perhaps contemporary with parts of the more extensive multi-period cropmark site recorded 235m to the east (NHER 49461).

It should be noted that photographic coverage and rectification for the site was poor, and that this is likely to have had an adverse effect on the accuracy of the mapping and the reliability of its interpretation.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 6 June 2007.
