Map

May 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a series of medieval to post medieval boundaries are visible on aerial photographs to the west and east of St Marys Church, Fishley (S1-S5). The site is centred on TG 3979 1158.
To the east of the church are a series of cropmark ditches and parchmark banks or tracks, including one parched linear which appears to head towards the church and may mark a former track (S2-S3). A small enclosed and walled rectangular area appears to abut this feature. To the west of the church are a number of boundaries and trackways, some of which can be seen to be related, although not identical to those marked on the 1839 Upton Tithe map (S6), indicating that these relate to an earlier layout.
S. Massey (NMP), 30 May 2007.
