Map

June 2007. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a curvilinear ditch of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). A broad curvilinear ditch-like feature is present on a roughly west to east alignment. It does not appear to respect the alignment of either the post medieval field pattern or a coaxial field system of probable late Iron Age to Roman date (NHER 17291). Ditches extend to its south at right angles to its alignment. It is possible that this is a field boundary of road of unknown date. It appears to follow the topography and it is also possible that the curvilinear cropmarks relate to a natural feature.
