Map

June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a group of undated ditches and field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs to the north of the Postwick Transmitter Station (S1-S3). The site is centred on TG 3019 0886. It seems likely that these cropmarks represent several phases of activity, some or all of which may be late prehistoric to Roman in date. Finds of a late Neolithic to Iron Age date have been recovered from nearby (NHER 42572, 42583). A possible Bronze Age round barrow (NHER 49556) is located within this area of cropmarks and some of the ditches may be broadly contemporary.
