Map

June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a group of undated field boundaries and trackways are visible on aerial photographs to the south of Manor Farm, Blofield (S1). The site is centred on TG 3289 0917. The site consists of a dispersed group of single and double ditched boundaries, all aligned roughly NW-SE and NE-SW. It is possible that these represent fragments of a field system of unknown date. These boundaries would appear to pre-date those associated with the medieval manorial site located to the SE (NHER 12445).
S. Massey (NMP), 23 June 2007.
