The cropmarks of undated and multiphase ditches are visible on aerial photographs to the south of Ferry Road, Surlingham (S1-S3). The site is centred on TG 3135 0698.

The site consists of a fragmentary linear ditches, probably the remains of former field boundaries, and a possible trackway or multiple ditched boundary. The date of the cropmarks is uncertain. Finds in this general area range from Bronze Age, Roman to Saxon, medieval to post medieval in date (NHER 32217, 35080, 35835, 35978-9).
