Summary

Metal-detecting between 2007 and 2017 recovered medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post medieval coins; a medieval jetton; a post-medieval token as well as a range of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Iron Age Rosette brooch; a Roman nail cleaner; Roman/Early Saxon strap fitting; a Late Saxon strap end; a medieval strap or book fitting; a medieval/post medieval coin weight, dagger guard, strap-end and buckle; a post-medieval strap fitting and much non-recorded later metalwork.
