Map

June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of multi-period field boundaries and trackways of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs at south of Norwich Road, Lingwood (S1-S4). The site is centred on TG 3684 0760. The majority of the features recorded under this site are fragmentary ditches, interpreted as the remains of former field boundaries of varying dates or, where double ditched, trackways. One boundary appears to be defined by three parallel ditches (S3). The finds from this area are predominantly medieval in date (NHER 33128 and 39732) although it is unlikely that this reflects the date of many of the cropmarks.
S. Massey (NMP), 28 June 2007.
