Summary

The cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs. This cropmark was previously recorded as part of NHER 21761. It is likely that it relates to a small round barrow.

A cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is centred on TM 4080 9760 was previously recorded as part of NHER 21761. Only the north-east half of the ring ditch is present as a cropmark. It appears to have a circular plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 11m. It is likely that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a small round barrow. A complete ring ditch cropmark is located 40m to the south-west (NHER 49646).
