Map

July 2007. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of undated field boundary ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 4031 9976. Linear field boundary ditch cropmarks are present on several different alignments. None appear to directly relate to the post medieval field pattern or an adjacent possible Iron Age to Roman field system (NHER 49650).
J. Albone (NMP), 04 July 2007.

November 2013. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed extension to Norton Subcourse Quarry.
Two trenches were placed to investigate the single linear cropmark in this group that fell within the proposed extraction area. No sub-surface features were identified, suggesting that remains have probably been lost to plough truncation.
See report (S2) and NHER 61882 for further details.
