Summary

The cropmarks of field boundaries and a possible enclosure of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Low Farm, Beighton. These cropmarks may relate to the obstruction of a potential landing ground associated with the so-called 'red barn' (NHER 60581) built by the East Anglian Property Company in 1936-7.

The cropmarks of field boundaries and a possible enclosure of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Low Farm, Beighton (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 3843 0863. The site consists of a small group of fragmentary ditches, which are likely to former field boundaries. Although the L-shaped ditch located to the south of the road may represent the remains of an incomplete rectilinear or rectangular enclosure.
