The cropmarks of a group of fragmentary enclosures and field boundaries of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs to the east of North End, Thorpe (S1). The site is centred on TM 4319 9833. The site consists of a series of fragmentary linear and rectilinear ditches that are likely to be the remains of former enclosures and field boundaries. It is probable that many of these are boundaries are Iron Age to Roman in date
