Summary

A well-incised watercourse of some age was recorded during the Barton Leys Fincham Estate Woodland Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey in 2006. It forms the southwestern boundary of the wood.

The southwestern boundary of the wood has the Lode Dike as its boundary, a well incised watercourse of some age. An internal bank is variable but up to 4m spread and 0.8m high.
