Full Description
November 2006. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed line of Norwich Northern Distributor Road (Field 76). Finds recovered included:
27 prehistoric worked flints.
20+ Roman pottery sherds.
1 ?Roman ?coin.
1 or more medieval pottery sherds.
2 post-medieval coins, 1 pottery sherd, 5 brick/tile fragments, 1 copper alloy button and 1 copper alloy nail.
Various undated metal objects included 1 lead weight or plumb bob.
