Full Description
July 2007. Norfolk NMP.
A group of linear and rectilinear ditches and banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3), centred at TM 3199 9835. They probably represent former field boundaries, removed in the creation of Seething Park. They fit the pattern of enclosure depicted on 19th and early 20th century maps, such as the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch (S4), suggesting their probable post medieval date. Seething Park, depicted on some of the same maps, has since been ploughed, and the earthworks have probably been levelled.
