Full Description
July 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks described below were previously recorded as part of NHER 18331.
Undated linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S4), centred at TM 3676 9989. Some, such as the ditch visible between TM 3637 9993 and TM 3653 9997, fit the pattern of enclosure depicted on historic Ordnance Survey maps (such as the 1st edition 6 inch (S5)) and are likely to represent post medieval field boundaries.
It should be noted that rectification of the NLA oblique aerial photographs of the site (S2) was poor, and this may have adversely affected the accuracy of the mapping.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 31 July 2007.
