Summary

A series of linear features and large discrete areas of strong magnetic disturbance were found during geophysical survey on the route of a gas pipeline. Two parallel linear features may represent ditches flanking a track. The findings probably indicate an occupation site, and could be associated with a possible cottage on a map of 1840.
