Full Description
Late 2005. Aerial Photograph Interpretation.
Further features seen in the course of desk top evaluation for NHER 41949.
Cropmarks seem to demonstrate the presence of linear and curvilinear features. These were previously recorded under NHER 11697.
See report (S1) for further details.
J. Allen (NLA), 15 February 2007.
August 2007. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S2-S3). These cropmarks were previously recorded as part of NHER 11697. A group of linear ditch cropmarks are present on a variety of different alignments. Two parallel ditches on a roughly northwest to southeast alignment have previously been interpreted as a trackway. It is likely that most of the ditches relate to field boundaries of unknown date. Cropmarks of known post medieval field boundaries were not mapped.
J. Albone (NMP), 23 August 2007.
