Full Description
August 2007. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of possible ridge and furrow and a linear ditch of medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The earthwork ditch has the same alignment as the ridge and furrow and probably relates to a field boundary.
J. Albone (NMP), 23 August 2007.
March 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The earthworks of possible ridge and furrow and a medieval to post medieval ditch, described above, are not visible on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017 (S2). They have presumably been levelled.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 27 March 2023.
