This ruined cottage built of clunch appears to have been constructed before the late 18th century, and an extension was added to the original structure in the 18th or 19th century.

Ruined cottage. Clunch building of unknown date before late 18th century, extended in 18th/19th century in brick. Interior partition includes a huge oar resembling a steerboard. A dead cat claimed by the former owners to be a ritual deposit appeared to be simply a natural demise.
