Map

October 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a small area of fragmentary linear ditches, probably represent the remains of former field boundaries and trackways of unknown, but possibly Roman date, are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Attlebridge village (S1-S3). The site is centred on TG 1359 1673. The site lies on the lower slopes of the valley side overlooking the River Wensum to the west.

The date of these fragmentary cropmarks is not known, however a number of Roman date artefacts have been recovered nearby, such as at NHER 20424, 25137, 37277 and 37422, and it is possible that these ditch segments represent the remains of Roman date boundaries and trackways.
