Map

November 2007. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a medieval to post medieval road and field boundary are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Two closely spaced parallel ditch cropmarks are present on a roughly southwest to northeast alignment. To the southwest their alignment is continued by the Gressenhall and Longham parish boundary. These cropmarks relate to a former road of probable medieval date which is marked on a 1624 map of Gressenhall parish (S2) (See secondary file for NHER 50576). A medieval or post medieval field boundary ditch cropmark extends to the southeast of the road linking it with the boundary of the former park (NHER 50576).
J. Albone (NMP), 9 November 2007.
