Map

November 2007. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of incomplete enclosures of possible medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Three sides of a possible bank defined enclosure are visible. It has a rectangular plan and measures at least 49m by 35m externally. Cropmarks adjoining its northeast side appear to indicate the presence of further incomplete enclosures. These possible enclosures are aligned roughly parallel to the road to their north and may be of medieval to post medieval date. However, their function is unknown.
J. Albone (NMP), 16 November 2007.
