Map

December 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks of a series of ditched boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the west of Fustyweed, Elsing (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 0558 1801. The section of ditch to the northeast of the site is marked on as a boundary on the 1849 Elsing Enclosure map (S3), possibly defining the edge of the common grazing area. None of the other boundaries are still in use at the time of survey. These features are still visible as extant earthworks in 1988 (S2).
