Summary

Metal-detecting in 2007 and 2017 recovered Mesolithic/Early Neolithic, Neolithic, Neolithic/Bronze Age and undatable late prehistoric worked flints; Roman, Middle Saxon, medieva and post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Saxon Winchester-style strap-end; a medieval seal matrix and buckle; and a post-medieval buckle, book clasp and lead weight.
