Summary

Metal-detecting between 2007 and 2025 recovered Neolithic/Bronze Age flint flakes; Roman, Middle Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval and medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and a range of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman probable furniture mount; a Late Roman/Early Saxon strap end; a Roman brooch, strap end and probable furniture mount; an Early Saxon brooch fragment; Middle Saxon brooches; Middle Saxon/Late Saxon hooked tags and strap ends; Late Saxon brooches, a strap end and stirrup-strap mount; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories (including a post-medieval silver cuff link) a medieval mount, casket key, book clasp and probable furniture mount; a medieval/post-medieval rivet and copper alloy vessel fragment and a post-medieval spoon, crotal bell and lead cloth seal.
