Summary

Metal-detecting in 2007 recovered prehistoric flint flakes, Iron Age, Romano-British, Early-Middle Saxon and medieval pottery as well as Roman coins and metal objects. Metal-detecting in 2010 and 2011 recovered Late Prehistoric and Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age worked flint including a small Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age scraper; Iron Age, Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval pottery; a medieval thimble and an unusual post-medieval decorated crotal bell.
