Summary

Metal-detecting between 2007 and 2023 recovered Neolithic to Bronze Age flint flakes; Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and a range of other, undatable and Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include undatable lead beads; a Roman clapper bell; a Middle Saxon strap fitting; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval probable casket or box fittings, a harness mount, rowel spur, small padlock, book clasp, lamp/censer suspension unit, candlestick base, end cap from scale-tang knife, copper alloy seal matrix, lead weights and lead pot mends; a medieval/post-medieval hinge plate, copper alloy vessel fragments, copper alloy rings and lead weights and post-medieval clapper bells, crotal bells, furniture stud, harness mount, thimble, book clasp, lead cloth seals and lead window came fragment.

3 medieval coins, 13 pottery sherds, buckles, a button, strap loop, belt suspension loop, gilt rivet (possibly from annular brooch), cruciform possible strap distributor, probable casket or box fittings, harness mount, small padlock, lamp/censer suspension unit and copper alloy seal matrix.
Medieval/post-medieval copper alloy cooking vessel foot fragment, copper alloy ring and lead weight.
2 post-medieval jettons, 3 pottery sherds, crotal bells and a thimble.
