Summary

Casual finds from farmland between the 1960s and 2014 include a large collection of Roman coins, along with Roman pottery sherds and tile fragments. Other finds include a fragment of medieval architectural limestone, a post-medieval pottery sherd and post-medieval coins, jettons and a token.

Found on surface within the walled area of the Roman town c.50 years ago, when under the plough:
37 Roman pottery sherds, 2 combed box flue tile fragments, 2 imbrex fragments, 3 tegular fragments, 7 miscellaneous tile fragments and 1 limestone roof tile fragment.
1 medieval Caen limestone colonnette fragment.
1 post-medieval pottery sherd.
