Map

March 2008. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of undated ditches, probably representing the remains of former field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs to the south of Bylaugh Park. (S1-S2). Finds of a Roman date in the general vicinity of the site could indicate a Roman date, although the cropmarks are too sparse to morphologically attribute any dating. It is possible that some or all of the ditches relate to medieval to post medieval field boundaries, although they do appear to pre-date any of the boundaries depicted on the available historical map, such as the tithe.
