Summary

A series of cropmarks are visible on aerial photographs at this location. These consist of light coloured rectilinear enclosure features that would appear to be a combination of agricultural and natural cropmarks and have therefore not been mapped. However the fact that finds dating from the Iron Age, Roman and Saxon periods have been recovered from the general vicinity of the site, could indicate that at least some of the cropmarks may be archaeological or that the more dominant natural and agricultural marks are obscuring archaeological features.
