Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs (S1). A group of west to east aligned ridge and furrow earthworks were present to the west of Downham Road at Runcton Holme. The area of these earthworks has been partly built over with the remainder being under arable cultivation (S2).
