Summary

An archaeological evaluation of land adjacent to 69 Ashburton Road in February 2008 revealed six pits, two post holes, a possible foundation trench, two brick walls and modern features. All the features were post medieval or modern in date.

Evaluation of proposed development site. Contexts 1000-1030.
This work revealed six pits, two post holes, a possible foundation trench, two brick walls and modern features. All the features were post-medieval or modern in date.
Abraded medieval pottery sherds were recovered from one pit feature, but these were considered to be residual.
