Oak Wood Site 18:
A shallow pit was identified during an earthwork survey of Oak Wood, Crackling Hill, and Sheringham Wood.
The pit is a c. 8m wide depression and up to 0.8m deep. It is terraced into a south-facing slope, with spoil visible to the south. A probable former extraction pit.
