Summary

A former trackway of varying form identified during a rapid earthwork survey in Sheringham Wood. While it is still in use as a trackway today and extends northwards outside of the ancient woodland, its northern section is a hollow way and the trackway likely existed prior to landscaping activities within the wood.

Sheringham Wood Site 18:
A former trackway of varying form was identified during a rapid earthwork survey in Sheringham Wood. While it is still in use as a trackway today and extends northwards outside of the ancient woodland, its northern section is a hollow way approximately 4m wide and terraced into a south-east-facing slope. It likely existed prior to landscaping activities within the wood.
