Summary

Due to subsidence in the road outside Nos. 14-18 wooden piles were noted, at a depth of 1.8m. The date of these piles is unknown but they were thought to be similar to those seen along Purfleet and Old Fisher Fleet.

'A couple of years before 1995', road subsided outside nos 14-18 Pilot Street.
At a depth of 1.8m (6 feet), wooden piles were noted, following curve of road, and compared to piles seen along Purfleet and Old Fisher Fleet.
