Summary

A linear bank identified during a rapid earthwork survey. The bank is internal to a circular plantation depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map, but its date and function remain uncertain.

These earthworks have now been incorporated into NHER 63254 along with further possible banks and boundary banks identified from the Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) survey.

Bank A:
A linear bank measuring approximately 11m wide and 0.3m high. The bank gradually fades away to the east. It is internal to a circular plantation depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (S1), but does not appear to correspond with any of the features represented. The date and function of this bank remain uncertain.
